There is live music Saturdays at dinnertime, at Altu's Ethiopian Cuisine in East Lansing, from
6:30pm - 8:30pm
There is no cover charge for music night.

Temesgen plays two traditional instruments from Ethiopia: the Krar, a six-string lyre, and the Begena, a ten-string harp. He has a collection of old spiritual and love songs full of wise words sung in his native tongue. His voice is resonant, the instruments a perfect accompaniment.

- Jen is a favorite in the local music scene, and nationally known for her work. What a talent! She plays many instruments with ease. She writes songs with thoughtful lyrics, then sings her heart out with a strong and expressive voice.

Lindsay Lou is a young songwriter who packs a powerful but sweet voice, fine instrumentals and artful songwriting. New on the scene, she is not going anywhere... but up.
